(Brown should make this Langdon's next literary adventure Oliver Stone can direct the movie.)įor the few dozen people - including myself - who haven't read the book, Langdon (Tom Hanks) is a Harvard professor of "symbology" who is delivering a lecture in Paris. Robert Langdon is a Harry Potter for grownups - a wizard who can conjure up solutions to puzzles that have baffled humanity for millennia.
